Consignment & Sales Preperation

Fairfield offer consignment services for all types of thoroughbred horses at all stages of their lives and careers.

To make things clear and simple, please see below our chargeable rates for consignment and sale preparation if your horse is coming to Fairfield Stud prior to the date of sale.

 

Commission - 5%

We ask for a commission of 5% on the sale price of your horse - negotiable when multiple horses are consigned to the same sale.

 

Sales Day Fee - £250 per day

We charge a standard sales rate of £250 + VAT per day per horse, with no additional extras -travel and accommodation are included in this.

 

Sales Prep - £26 - £32 per day 

We charge £26 + VAT per day for horses out of training.

We charge £30 + VAT per day for Mares and Foals and 

£32 + VAT per day for Yearlings and NH Stores.

 

Transport - Free

We will collect horses from your yard and bring them to Fairfield Stud for free. Transport to and from the sales complex is included in the sales day fee.
